Tasks
Collaboration in research and teaching at the Institute of Mathematics, Combinatorial Optimization and Graph Algorithms group (www.coga.tu-berlin.de). The tasks include teaching, in particular in the specialisation Algorithmic Discrete Mathematics in the Bachelor's and Master's programmes, as well as collaboration in ongoing third-party funded projects and own research in the field of Combinatorial Optimization and Efficient Algorithms or closely related fields.

Requirements
- successfully completed academic university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) and doctorate in mathematics, computer science or a closely related subject
- sound knowledge of algorithmic discrete mathematics and in-depth knowledge of combinatorial optimisation and related fields, proven by first publications in peer-reviewed journals or proceedings
- the ability to teach in German and/or English is required; willingness to acquire the missing language skills
Desirable:
- clearly above-average grades
- good communication skills
- experience in university teaching, e.g. as a student teacher or as a lecturer in the field of mathematics, computer science or a closely related subject. e.g. as a stud. assistant
