Tasks
The successful candidate will independently undertake parts of the work on the EU project Roads4All "Co-creating safer Living Roads for all through a holistic, multi-level, participatory approach to cultural transformation."
The project will investigate the relationship between road safety and safety culture. A theory-based model of road safety culture will be developed and validated through surveys in various countries. This model will also serve as a basis for the development of culture-based road safety interventions, which will be designed, applied, and evaluated within the project. With a focus on young road users, the project aims to address high-risk groups and promote long-term behavioral changes.
The project will involve, among other things, designing and conducting independent literature studies and several subject studies (virtual reality experiments, observation, and surveys). The results of the empirical studies and interventions will be analyzed and prepared in the form of scientific publications.
The project will be carried out in close cooperation with various European partners. Partial investigations within the framework of the project can be carried out in other European locations.
