The Institute of Fluid Dynamics is conducting basic and applied research in the fields of thermo-fluid dynamics and magnetohydrodynamics in order to improve the sustainability, the energy efficiency and the safety of industrial processes.

The Department of Electrochemical Systems is looking for a

Tasks

  • Carrying out experiments on fuel cell performance test
  • Characterization of electrode activity by electrochemical measurements
  • Test the permeability of membrane electrode assembly for fuel cell

Requirements

  • Completed university studies (Master/Diploma) in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field
  • Very good knowledge of electrochemistry and experience with fuel cell test
  • Ability to cooperate across disciplines in an international environment
  • Independent, structured and target oriented way of working
  • Software skills in Python and Matlab
  • Very good English skills and basic German skills
