The duties include participation in research and teaching, in particular in compulsory modules, introductory mathematics lectures, and the Discrete Geometry specialisation within the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, as well as independent research in the field of convex geometry/geometry of numbers or closely related areas.

Your profile

  • successfully completed academic university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) and PhD in mathematics
  • research experience in the field of modern convex geometry and/or number theory, demonstrated by initial publications in relevant peer-reviewed journals
  • the ability to teach in German and English is required; willingness to acquire any missing language skills
  • teaching experience is desirable
