management and responsibility of scientific projects in close collaboration with industry, trade unions, politics, marketing boards and scientific partners
identification of development drivers regarding manufacturing process chains in automotive and supply industry
deduction of development scenarios and strategies with special focus on sustainability
knowledge transfer to industry and education
advancement and inclusion of creative approaches to solve socially relevant challenges in the fields of manufacturing processes and carbon neutrality
support and guidance of scientific trainees
presentation of research results to industry representatives and scientists at international conferences and trade fairs
international, scientific travel activities
successfully completed scientific university degree (Diplom, Master or equivalent) in Energy and Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent
advanced knowledge in process engineering
deeper knowledge in the field of process and machine tool dynamics
knowledge in the field of control engineering
basic knowledge in the field of process chains in automotive industry
experience in the field of environmentally sustainable concepts desirable
experience in guiding students desirable
good knowledge of MS Office
independent, systematic and structured working method
independent work in laboratories and with machine tools (incl. maintenance and overhaul)
intention to obtain a doctorate and to work scientifically in a multidisciplinary team
advanced skills in written and spoken English, German at least C1.
