Research assistant - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen

Working field:

  • management and responsibility for scientific projects in close collaboration with industry, trade unions, politics, marketing boards and scientific partners
  • strategy development for sustainability in the automotive industry
  • knowledge transfer to industry and education
  • support and training of junior scientists
  • presentation of research results to scientists and industry representatives at national and international conferences and trade fairs
  • national and international, scientific travel activities

Requirements:

  • successfully completed university degree (Diplom, Master or equivalent) in industrial engineering and management, mechanical or automotive engineering, production technology or equivalent
  • advanced skills in spoken and written German (at least C1) and English
  • good knowledge of MS Office
  • knowledge in production technology
  • knowledge in the field of sustainability
  • intention to obtain a doctorate and to work scientifically in a multidisciplinary team

desirable:
  • basic knowledge of process chains in the automotive industry
  • experience in the field of environmentally sustainable concepts
  • independent, systematic and structured working methods
  • independent work in laboratories and with machine tools (incl. maintenance and overhaul)
