Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in physical engineering, mechanical engineering, in the field of mechatronics or similar
Excellent knowledge and strong creativity in designing and developing micro-mechatronic systems
Extensive knowledge of the design of multi-variable and non-linear control systems, preferably for distributed systems
Experiences concerning smart materials and in particular modeling modelling of dielectric (DE) transducers desirable
Very good knowledge and experience in the field of analytical modeling, and numerical simulation based on multiphysics tools like COMSOL
Knowledge and initial experience with experimental research methods and in dealing with real-time systems such as dSPACE
Self-sufficiency, structured working method and initiative
Very good German and English proficiency in spoken and written
Capacity for teamwork
