Research Assistant - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 1st qualification period (PhD)
Part-time employment may be possible
taking over teaching and research tasks
preparation and realization of courses in the extent of currently four LVS
supporting the supervision of students and research assistants
work on various research topics in the field of numerical mechanics and material modeling, in particular in the field of nonlinear mechanics and the finite element method
development of original programs and performing simulations
preparation of high-quality publications and presentations
successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in the field of mechanical engineering, physics, mathematics, informatic or equivalent
ability to work scientifically, typically proven by international publications
sufficient language proficiency to teach classes in German and/or Englisch is expected; willingness to learn either English or German
independent and goal-oriented way of working as well as open-mind for interdisciplinary tasks
above-average commitment, strong communication skills and team spirit
