Research Assistant - 0.75 working time - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen
Research within a DFG project in the field of state-of-the-art spectroscopy and mass spectrometry (optical and infrared laser spectroscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy) of diamondoid molecules and their clusters in the gas phase with relevance to materials science and astrophysics; development of scientific apparatus; possibility to obtain a PhD degree.
Successfully completed scientific university degree (Master, Diploma, or equivalent degree) in physics, chemistry or related subjects, with proof of qualification available at the time of hiring; a very good degree is desired
Very good knowledge and experience in one or more of the following fields: Molecular spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, laser, optics, electronics, vacuum technology, cryo-technology, quantum chemistry
Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to learn the language skills required in each case
A high degree of determination, commitment, and the ability to work independently in a scientific environment
Experimental skills in dealing with complex laboratory setups
Ability to work in a team and social commitment
