Research Assistant – 0.67 working time - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen

There is the possibility of a doctorate.

Working field:

Participation in electrocatalytic research on electrochemical hydrogen peroxide production in rotating ring disk electrode (RRDE) and flow cell environments. Required is prior knowledge in the design and operation of electrolysis cells, as well as in fundamental electrochemical characterization techniques. The goal of this project is to establish a conceptual link between the thermo and electrochemical hydrogen peroxide production.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in chemistry
  • Prior research experience in electrochemistry
  • Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the missing language skills in each case

Desirable:

  • The position is suited for a self-driven individual who is capable of conducting demanding research projects independently
