Tasks

Contribution to research in above research laboratory in the field of Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Optimization within a collaboration project with the Max-Delbrück-Center (MDC, Berlin-Buch). Application of drug design methods and structure-activity-relations based on organic synthesis and peptide synthesis; experimental supervision of project relevant Bachelor and Master students; active contribution to the self-organization of the research team.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed university studies (Master Dilploma or equivalent) in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy or life sciences
  • Doctoral degree in natural sciences with a specification in organic synthesis
  • Experience in lab work
  • Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
