In the Institute of Theoretical Physics at HZDR, non-equlibrium phenomena are investigated by predominantly analytical means. Key research areas include strong fields, strong correlations, and quantum information technology.
The Institute of Theoretical Physics is looking for a
Tasks
- Analytical and possibly numerical calculations within the research projects of the CRC 1242: B03 "Driven Dynamics in Interacting Quantum Many-Body Systems" and/or B07 "Unifying Theoretical Description of Relaxation in Electron Systems"
Requirements
- Completed university studies (Master/Diploma) in the field of Physics or related field
- Knowledge and experience in the field of Theoretical Physics
- Willingness to work academically in an interdisciplinary environment team
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Basic German language knowledge is advantageous
