Technische Universität Berlin offers an open position:

Tasks

  • collaboration in research and teaching at the Institute of Mathematics (Workgroup Stochastics and Financial Mathematics)
  • supervision of seminars and courses for the mathematical degree programs, including tutorials and seminars (4 SWS atfull-time)
  • research in the fields of mathematics of machine learning, stochastic optimization, stochastic analysis

Requirements

  • successfull completed scientific university degree (Master's, Diplom or equivalent) and completed doctorate in mathematics or a closely related field
  • profound knowledge in at least one of the following areas is expected: Theoretical foundations of machine learning, stochastic optimization, stochastic analysis, neural networks and dynamics of training algorithms

Desirable:

  • Programming experience
