Technische Universität Berlin offers an open position:
Tasks
- Teaching assistant in theoretical physics (compulsory and compulsory elective courses, 4 SWS)
- Research in the field of condensed matter, in particular on many-body quantum systems, on the generation and analysis of controlled quantum states and their application in quantum metrology
Requirements
- Successlully completed university degree (Master's, Diploma or equivalent) in physics or a related field (or conclusion to the signing of the employment contract)
- Very good knowledge in theoretical physics, especially in the field of quantum many-body systems, in particular quantum metrology and quantum information
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
Desirable:
- Experience in numerical methods
- High level of commitment and ability to work independently
- Good didactical skills
