Tasks

  • research in the DFG project MO 2265-7/1, specifically the development of new methods for the time-dependent inversion of geophysical data
  • presentation of research results at conferences and workshops

Requirements

  • successfully completed scientific university degree (Master's, Diploma or equivalent) in geophysics, physics or comparable subject area
  • PhD in Geophysics or related field
  • expertise in geophysical inverse methods
  • programming experience in a modern language (Python, C++, etc.)
  • good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills

Desired:

  • ability to effectively communicate and present research results
