Technische Universität Berlin offers an open position:
Tasks
- research in the DFG project MO 2265-7/1, specifically the development of new methods for the time-dependent inversion of geophysical data
- presentation of research results at conferences and workshops
Requirements
- successfully completed scientific university degree (Master's, Diploma or equivalent) in geophysics, physics or comparable subject area
- PhD in Geophysics or related field
- expertise in geophysical inverse methods
- programming experience in a modern language (Python, C++, etc.)
- good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
Desired:
- ability to effectively communicate and present research results
