Research Assistant - 0.7 part time employment - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen
Your responsibility
The position is part of the sociological research project “Embracing Capital – Normative and Legal changes towards a capitalization of ownership in companies”. This project pursues the goal of analyzing a structural change in corporate ownership from the beginning of the Federal Republic of Germany until today (1949-2024). The research is guided by the basic assumption that ownership of companies is increasingly organized through corporations, which is referred to as “capitalization”. In order to better understand this structural change, three structural levels are examined in more detail: What shifts in company law can be identified with regard to corporations? To what extent are capital owners normatively contested as subjects of corporate ownership? In what way and to what extent have corporations spread? The project is led by Prof. Dr. Isabell Stamm and is part of the SfB Transregio 294 “Structural Change of Ownership”.
