Your responsibility

  • Design, simulation, and evaluation of advanced quantum protocols in networks beyond quantum key distribution (QKD)
  • Technical and organizational coordination with project partners and the consortium
  • Communication of scientific and technical findings to the consortium and at national/international conferences

Your profile

  • Successfully completed scientific university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in physics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent academic performance (e.g., publications at high-ranking conferences)
  • Extensive experience and advanced knowledge in the areas of advanced quantum protocols, theoretical evaluation and analysis of these, and use of network simulation tools
  • Good German and/or English skills required; willingness to acquire missing language skills
  • Enjoyment of cutting-edge research, creativity, and ability to work independently and in a team desirable
