Applicants should also be interested in developing innovative systems and validating research results in a real application environment.
Besides in-depth knowledge in database technologies, applicants will ideally also have advanced knowledge in data science, compiler construction, and distributed systems programming. Furthermore, experience in open-source development, and project management. The ability to teach in German and/or in English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills.
