Your responsibility

  • Development of new multi-physics imaging approaches to Image the subsurface
  • Participation in field campaigns
  • Teaching of Undergraduate and Graduate classes for a total of 4 hours per week during term time
  • Presentation of results at international conferences

Your profile

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in geophysics, physics, or a related field
  • Some experience with geophysical inverse methods
  • Willingness to teach and learn new pedagogical methods
  • Some programming experience in a modern language (C++, Python, etc.)
  • The ability to teach in German and/or in English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills.
  • Physical fitness to participate in field work is an advantage
