Your responsibility

Implementation of the activities within a Horizon Europe research project, including, among others

  • Support in the overall coordination of the project, including:
    o Project management activities related to the timely planning and implementation of all the tasks and work packages and related deliverables;
    o Internal and external communication activities related to the project management;
    o Preparation of all the deliverables related to the project management;
    o Overall supervision of the milestones achievement and preparation, review and timely submission of all project deliverables
  • Preparing and implementing the Data Management Plans of a 36-month Horizon project, and successful preparation and implementation of related deliverables;
  • Execution of tasks and work packages led by TUB, including:
    o conducting methodological scoping and detailed reviews of relevant steps within the MEErP methodology
    o mapping and analyzing regulatory instruments related to the ESPR
    o reviewing assessment methods for circularity aspects
    o mapping emerging product and process technologies relevant to ecodesign
    o providing support across all other tasks in which TUB is involved
    o contributing to the design of incentive‑based instruments and evaluating the role of public procurement and producer responsibility in promoting ecodesign
    o Support in the organization of project meetings and events (both physical and virtual)
  • Support with acquiring additional research projects
  • Contribution to scientific publications and participation in scientific conferences

Your profile

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom, or equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines
  • Strong interest in applied research and standardization (preferably in the field of bioeconomy, circular economy and eco-design) is desirable
  • Experience in implementing European or national projects in the field of circular economy, bioeconomy or broader sustainability domain
  • High level of commitment and self‑motivation, with the ability to work independently, and interest in pursuing a PhD related to the project´s topics is desirable
  • Strong social and communication skills is desirable
  • Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe
  • Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills.
  • Knowledge of quantitative research methods and good command of statistical software (e.g., R, Stata) is an advantage
