Your responsibility
- research in a current area of applied Stochastic Analysis
- Coordination for the International Research Training Group “Stochastic Analysis in Interaction”
- promotion of academic exchange and cooperation among Research Training Group members in Oxford and Berlin
- liaison between doctoral candidates and the Research Training Group leadership
- organization and facilitation of academic seminars, courses, and workshops

Your profile
- Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in mathematics, specializing in stochastics
- Comprehensive, in-depth knowledge in the field of stochastic analysis and some of its applications
- Fluency in spoken and written English and German
- A particular interest in and ability to interact within a research group, along with a proactive work ethic is desirable
- Experience with structured doctoral programs and collaborative projects
- Experience in organizing academic events
- Experience working with university committees
- Programming skills in Python and/or "R" and proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
