Your responsibility
Research within a project in the field of quantum computer hardware and quantum measurement instruments. The aim is to explore possibilities for implementing remote attestation for quantum computers. The focus is therefore on ensuring that quantum computers have not been compromised by external actors prior to their deployment. Concepts and methods from quantum storage, photonic quantum computing, and quantum information theory will be combined, among other things, to develop "Quantum Physical Unclonable Functions."
The opportunity to pursue a doctorate is available.
Your profile
- Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Outstanding initial scientific achievements (e.g., publications)
- Passion for cutting-edge research, creativity, and ability to work in a team desirable
- Advanced knowledge in photonic quantum computing, quantum hardware, and/or quantum information theory desirable
- Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
